Marathon runner patch

(5 customer reviews)

A marathon runner patch you can sew or iron on.

This fabric patch is a fun way for a marathon runner to stay proud of their 26.2 miles.

Sew onto, or drop into, a runner’s Xmas stocking or give as a Secret Santa gift. Sew on for best results

If you’re not sure where to put it, or want to move it around, why not pin on with some of those safety pins from your running numbers?

Iron on instructions:

Please note this patch can’t be ironed onto waterproofs or activewear, or any non-iron fabrics as it won’t stick. Polyester/cotton fabrics work best.

1. Set your iron to a hot setting eg cotton

2. Put your patch in position, design facing up and cover with some fabric eg a clean tea towel

3. Press down for 30-40 seconds max, do not use steam. Don’t touch the badge until it’s cooled down.

4. If it doesn’t stick the first time, repeat step 3.

5. For maximum safety, we recommend also sewing the patch on

Made from:

High-quality spun polyester

Overlocked edges prevent fraying

Heat sealed to protect against cracking, peeling and fading

My partner has a fabric rucksack that he puts “sew on patches” onto. The majority are collected from when we visit other countries but I thought this one would be a welcome addition since he has completed several marathons now. I’m sure he’ll love it once I give it to him.
