Why Work With Me?
As a Cambridge graduate with experience in central government, strategy consultancy, and running my own eCommerce business, I bring a useful and unique mix of skills and insights.
I’ve worked across the public and private sectors, as well as hands-on in small business, so I understand the challenges faced by organisations of many sizes.
Running my own eCommerce business has confirmed my belief that technology can, and should, make life easier.
I’ve always been drawn to the tech side of things—building websites, creating magical spreadsheet formulas, and finding ways to make processes more efficient.
Over time, this passion has evolved into a focus on operations, from working on the running of a Government department, to order management and stock systems.
I know what it’s like to be busy, juggling endless tasks, and I’ve spent years refining systems to save time and eliminate errors (I’m not a fan of those).
My approach is simple:
focus on what matters most first, get it working efficiently, and then build and improve from there.
If you want tailored solutions to help your business thrive, I’m here to make it happen.
Case Studies
> Order management dashboard
Managing sales across different channels is time-consuming and risks error totalling up products.
Order management software is often too expensive and too complex for many businesses.
I’ve created dashboards in a single base, with key views you so you can see all orders in chronological order, see SKUs to pick, monitor orders by process step, postage method or fulfilment location.
> Stock / warehouse management
Keeping stock levels updated—especially across multiple locations—is a major challenge, and constant counting is no fun.
Automation can update stock numbers in real time.
> Enhanced Order Processing
Standard order information, including what’s available from APIs, doesn’t always give you all the details you need.
I build systems that enrich your order data to solve real problems, like:
- generating SKU data when sales channels don’t support product variations, which helps keep your inventory accurate, and also enables sending items to fulfilment centres, where previously this wasn’t possible.
- formatting order details for fulfiment partners exactly how they need it (CSV, links, emails, etc.)
- personalised notes for customers
- bringing in AI where it can help
> Easier Data analysis
Selling on different websites and platforms, data is formatted differently, and each channel only has its own platform view.
Bringing all your sales data together by automation allows and to look at your total sales by key metrics like product quantities, countries sold to, monthly trends. Compare how different sales channels are performing. This more holistic view of your business helps you make smarter decisions
> Instant Alerts for important criteria that are easily missed
I create smart automations that catch costly errors and highlight key actions
On some ecommerce platforms, customers may be able to check out on a cheaper option but still add details for a more expensive option, such as personalisation, I catch these cases
Buyers sometimes send to a different person but don’t add a note to be included in the order. I flag these so that the customer can be contacted to check.
With many customs and regulations requirements, some orders may require different shipping or order note info, which I flag to avoid relying on memory and making mistakes
I automate spotting these cases immediately, get alerted, including a draft personalised message to send the customer
> Reviews system
Positive reviews drive sales, trust and credibility, but asking for them can be time-consuming, and if it’s not super easy for the customer, they won’t add theirs.
I automate the process by sending customers a personalised email with a direct link to leave a review after a set period.
> Consolidating customer questions from multiple sources
Customer inquiries can come from multiple sales and social media channels.
I create systems that gather all customer messages into one place so you never miss a question and can see who’s dealing with it and when.
Curious how automation could make your work easier? Let’s talk. I combine hands-on experience with creative problem-solving to design and build solutions that work for you.
