MarathonTalk is a running podcast from Martin Yelling and Tom Williams available free every Wednesday via itunes or their website.  As the podcast is fantastic (I highly recommend it to runners at all levels), MarathonTalk has also grown a large community in the UK and abroad.

MarathonTalk has now held 3 running camps in the UK.  I was very honoured to design the flyer for the third camp.

I was given free rein on the design.  I just had to include all the key info.

I used the MarathonTalk distinctive font and colours, and included things us runners are used to seeing at events – banners, signposts, supporters with signs, plus scenery to represent the camp’s rural setting.  If you look closely you can see my drawing of footprints onto the grass, representing the runners running all around.

The flyer seemed to help as the camp sold out really fast.
